Why the why of me pulsing here :)



The title is inspired by a conversation I had with a dear friend some days ago. You can find 'her' on this page, at the end! :) We were talking about the irony of life, fate, and our very being and 'the why of the why of the why' came up as there appeared to be questions within questions wherever we looked. :)



Anyways, the purpose of this post is to start this journey with some reflection about why I am here, and sharing it with all of you lovely people. I am using the the 3 points provided on the readings.



I am here because I need support to strengthen my voice.
My voice is unwavering, strong, assertive, compassionate, and above all it is loud.



Harnessing my voice to be just the above will take some time and effort. And that's what I hope to be doing here. I want to be a correspondent because I want to learn to be a voice for the voiceless in the society; to bring marginalized issues to the forefront for a meaningful change.



To do that our contribution should be unwavering. Honest, strong, solutions-based journalism will help my community to address important issues that are sidelined; sidelined because they do not affect the elite.
