Are you passionate about art, feminism, and making a difference? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
At Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda, we believe in the transformative power of creativity to challenge stereotypes and drive social change. That's why we're issuing a Call for Story Pitches: Art and Feminism.
What We're Looking For:
- Are you a Ugandan artist or feminist blogger?
- Do you use mediums such as poetry, music, essays, comics, painting, photography, or videography to challenge negative narratives about feminism and combat gender backlash online?
- Do you want to bridge information gaps related to gender, feminism, and the arts, with a special emphasis on contributing to Wikipedia?
- Are you passionate about promoting gender equality and amplifying feminist voices?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you!
Submission Guidelines:
- Submit your original stories, videos, and comics that explore themes related to gender, feminism, and the arts.
- Your submissions should be aimed at bridging inclusive information gaps and promoting gender equality.
- We encourage innovative and creative approaches to storytelling.
- Submissions with a special emphasis on contributing to Wikipedia are highly encouraged.
