World Pulse Spirit Award Nomination: The Encourager in Jill Langhus

I heard about the call to nomination and even while I read through the call, one name stood out in my mind. If there had been no category for encouragers, I would have fit her in another there was.

Now, I read a World Pulse Spirit sister described as one who: Lifts up those around her. Speaks out for what she believes. Listens with empathy and without judgment. Seeks personal transformation. She is trustworthy. She is a connector. She uses technology, and she is passionate about making a difference

Jill Langhus does not only define herself in her own words as being about all of that and some, she does that out here for real. I don't want to only talk about what I read , but about what she did to and for me. You see, when I joined World Pulse last year, I didn't know just how deep I should or could take a plunge. I just wrote my first story from the heart, and the very first comment a few minutes later were from Jill. Is that how she is watching out for newcomers?

I have and still blog on other platforms, but none like World Pulse. Jill didn't stop at commenting, she encouraged me to write and submit my very next post for an award. Wow, how do you take such a bold plunge unless you are sure of who has your back?

Now, Jill and I didn't end only on World Pulse here, we got in touch on messenger and exchanged a few emails. Sisterhood personified for me. I wish I had gotten the Schengen visa when I applied for one this summer, I would have done all it took to get to Spain and give Jill a hug. I love meeting my WP Sisters, and Jill is one I would give all I had to meet sooner than later.

Thank you Jill for all you do out here, and thank you World Pulse. I am sincerely learning the ropes on being an encourager from Jill.
