Today, I had the privilege of joining an inspiring conversation hosted by the Lead(H)er Fellows of the 3rd Cohort under the Peace & Security Pillar in commemoration of the International Day of Peace. This engaging dialogue focused on the critical role that young African women are playing in driving the UN Security Council's 1325 resolutions on peacebuilding and the importance of their involvement in shaping a more just and peaceful world.
As a passionate advocate for youth leadership, social inclusion, and mental health, I found the session deeply enriching. It underscored the power of collective action and the need for young women to lead the charge in conflict resolution, governance, and community rebuilding. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to engage with and learn from such empowering leaders.
